Hey Opponauts, Dogapult here!
I’ve been tasked with getting ahold of a black car on Saturday, April 30th, in Reedsburg, WI. Doesn’t have to be Town Car, etc. Just need something that’s got the right presence from the outside. Problem is, limousine and black car rental wants close to $300 to get us the car to go a grand total of about 6 miles. (I only basically need it from about 11am to 1pm at the latest)
Have any ideas of a more affordable way to get the car for the skit I’m using it for?

why can u not rent one from Hertz , Enterprise, Alamo ?
I have rented plenty of black cars from those places, shouldnt cost more than $100
head to your nearest airport

21$ and it’s yours to keep! You’ll just have to use some trick photography, like having the car near camera and people being conveniently behind it or something like that. It could work.

I’d say movie rental service but it’ll be spendy. Can you rent a black SUV from Hertz or something? Or offer a limo company some free press just to park the car... If you are doing a skit you’ve got signs or some kind of program...
oh! Try relay rides. Basically a setup where people rent their cars for a couple hours when they aren’t using them.

Hopefully cheaper than the $300 quote. You may be able to work out a deal with the “rentee” if you only need it for a couple hours.
